Intermittent fasting to lose weight

While there is a big debate going on about fasting to lose weight and going on a fast in general, you will find that most people agree that intermittent fasting is a great fast weight loss method. Furthermore, I am sure that either you or a friend of yours has had a doctor recommend a fasting blood sugar test or otherwise known as FBS in order to determine your levels of glucose.
If all these doctors recommend fasting, then I think that this is enough proof to show the benefits of fasting weight loss is actually safe. However, if you are fasting for weight loss for a prolonged period of time, then you will lose weight, but you may also hurt yourself.
That is why I only recommend intermittent fasting weight loss to all of those people who keep contacting me for advice. You have to understand the element of surprise that comes with all those fasting diets. One of the most important benefits of fasting is that your body expects to receive food and it doesn’t, and because of that “surprise”, it starts burning the fat that it has stored until then. Intermittent fasting is what causes your body to get surprised every time you start fasting to lose weight.
A simple test to see that a fasting diet will always work is to look at your weight before and after you start fasting for blood work. I bet that you will be surprised at how fast you can lose all that weight.
However, once again, you have to remember that if you adapt fasting weight loss as a normal way of life, then your body will adapt to it as well and the effect will deteriorate with time. In short, I would consider intermittent fasting to be one of the best fasting tips I could give you.

Then again, as you know, I am all about fasting tips, and since I have been fasting for weight loss I have a few of them up my sleeve, so I won’t stop there. Another great idea that you can try is water fasting. The good thing about water fasting is that it allows your body to flush out all the bad toxins that it has been storing. As you down a glass of water, if your body is empty, then it will have to dispense of all the toxins in it which would not actually happen if you were eating normally.
If you are like me and you can’t make yourself to drink enough water, then a good alternative is juice fasting. As a matter of fact, many experts say that juice fasting is even better because you get to enjoy all the vitamins from the fruits and vegetables in those juice fasting recipes that you will learn to make.
Of course, it goes without saying that all of the above methods will still only work if you do intermittent fasting to lose weight and you only do it once or twice a week. Fasting weight loss works without a doubt, but in order for it to work you have to do it properly!
